Ascent Trip ReportDrove to the service road, which was marked with No Tresspassing signs. By the number of tire tracks, I could see the service road was heavily trafficked. So, I went into stealth mode, as it was the middle of the afternoon. I basically went cross country through the brush for the entire ascent, staying with a couple of hundred of feet from the service road. There were two pickups at the top, but the drivers must have been inside the communication tower working. I quickly scoped out the high point and went back the way I came. Thankfully, no poison oak. |
