Ascent of Mount Misery on 2014-12-10

|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Location:||USA-New Hampshire|
| Elevation:||580 ft / 176 m|
Ascent Trip ReportFinally bagged Mt. Misery! It was rainy and mucky, but the summit was surprisingly pleasant- more so than Mt. Miner, and way more so than Mine Hill.
Parked at a large pull-off on NH 28 Bypass and bushwhack straight through the woods to the east/northeast until we came to a 4X4 trail. My Dad and I followed it past a field to a point where we were getting close to a farm house. I'm pretty sure where we were wasn't posted, but we decided to do another bushwhack more out of sight to the more narrow 4X4 trail to the top.
The summit was open and mossy, with some rock outcrops. No views (too many trees), but if it was open, they'd be very good given the area.
