Ascent of Hercules-Glades Wilderness High Point on 2014-12-07Others in Party: | Carol Noonan-Parsons
| Date: | Sunday, December 7, 2014 | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | Peak: | Hercules-Glades Wilderness High Point | Location: | USA-Missouri | Elevation: | 1360 ft / 414 m |
Ascent Trip ReportThere is a watchtower at the highpoint, which is fenced off. You can drive to it. But I highly recommend hiking into or through the wilderness area to reach the highpoint, as there are some very nice waterfalls (assuming some rain prior) and camping areas within the wilderness area itself.
