Ascent Trip Report

Bob Schwab's TR still applies.

AREA 1 .... is in the open field east of the road at 5-7 yards and is basically a drive-up.

AREA 2 .... I agree that this hill was created by the huge quarry operations to the north (tailing pile) and it doesn't have to be visited. I visited it out of curiosity.
We parked on CR77, 400 yards north of CR12, the HP is to the west.
I scrambled up the steep embankment (40 yards) to the all grass plateau, then west to the high ground at the very west end of the plateau (400 yards from the road). A number of animal paths eased the way. I spooked a deer at the high ground.
From the north side of the plateau I got a good view of the quarry operations still in progress.
