Ascent Trip ReportJoined a Spanish birthday party group in the carpark and were treated to some of their cake. Then set off in good heart, walking up a steady ascent behind the Sanctuary. Well defined track through trees initially, then out of them providing views of the summit. Well engineered zig zag path climbing to the ridge.
Cloud building but we reached the summit in sun. Breezy on the top and cool. Ate lunch in a windbreak shelter.
Then back down keeping below the gathering clouds. |
