Ascent Trip ReportOn our way back from visiting my parents on this Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, we stopped to bag mont Vianney. I parked the car at the entrance of access road 'R' to the windmill park. This parking was 1.1 km into Rang 3 from the corner. We walked an additionnal 100 meters on rang 3 then took the path going to the summit. We walked by one of the windmill and continued on the path. At the second access road crossing, I spotted the solar panel and about 10 meters away the orange plastic sign 'repère géodésique'. My wife, my older daughter and I took many pictures at the summit. 3 meters away from the post there is a higher point, but it's a pile of dirt deposited there by construction workers. In a couple of year, it will look like the natural summit. |
