Ascent Trip ReportA fairly quick hike up from Buck Creek TH to the saddle with Burger Butte, then climbed the south ridge. Fortunately no hunters at the campground, and none up the trail. Summit was shrouded in clouds so views were minimal. We traversed the ridge to Burger Butte and got caught in a downpour just as we reached the summit of that mountain. A long wet hike out in constant rain. |
