Ascent Trip Report

Turned off Kingston Canyon road a bit too early and round up tackling Bunker Hill by going up the south ridge line of Mahogany Gulch. This route is very steep and there is quite a bit of level 3 and level 4 scrambling at the end to reach the summit. I would strongly recommend going up Sawyer Canyon like all of the resonable people that have it routed on the site. I had my 10 and 12 year old sons with me and we accomplished it together. Kudos to them for doing it, but if I had to do it over, I'd definately take Sawyer Canyon like everyone else.
