Ascent Trip Report

Cahuilla (29C)(6X), Little Cahuilla (29B)(6X)
This was a scheduled hike with Mars as the co-leader. Joining us was Amin Faraday, Stella Chong and John Radajl. We looked for pathfinder, however, we couldn’t find anything reasonable. Did route 1 on both. On Cahuilla, continue about 50 yards past the register and you will be right on the edge of the rock faces. Beautiful views. Little Cahuilla, the route was pretty easy to follow. We started down Rt. 7SO4 to check out a possible ridge route to this peak. The road was a mess, huge rock, ruts, even difficult for Mars’ vehicle. Turned around after ½ miles. Next time, walk this road.
