| Location:||USA-New Hampshire|
| Elevation:||4052 ft / 1235 m|
Ascent Trip ReportA great day for a traverse, mostly... We started off at 4:45 AM, and made it to Crawford Notch shortly after 7 PM. Early in the day the weather was great, sunny up until Washington. Around Franklin we started feeling a few drops of rain. Between Pierce and Jackson we started to hear thunder in the distance. We booked it to the summit of Jackson, and got a view of some dark clouds. Not far below treeline the sky opened up. We got soaked, and pelted with cranberry sized hail. Despite the slog out in a trail covered in hail, it was a great hike.
