Ascent Trip Report

Michael , Brian & I headed to Killington today to hike Mt Killington.....This hike would complete Vt 4,000 footers for Brian & I while for Mike it would be his final peak for NE67 CONGRATS!!!!!
We went up the Bucklin Tr with temps in the 50's....3/4 of this hike is easy till after you pass the Cooper Lodge then it gets steep ....We stopped on this steep section to layer up as the wind was really blowing & we were getting hit with sleet...By the time we got to summit winds were in 40's & visibility of maybe 100'..We never saw anyone till we got to the summit....After a few pics on top we headed down to the Lodge to have a bite to eat & something to drink before we made our decent.
When a the Lodge thats when we started seeing people heading up ..we started our way down & met quite a few hikers heading up including Marisa & Joe .Chatted for a bit Then headed down
Well now we have Vt complete time to turn our attension to Maine .What a great day
