Ascent Trip ReportBeautiful bluebird day from the drive from Conway, hiking up Pinkham, up to the Lion's Head with amazing view of Tuck's, though my camera settings washed out most of the pictures as I later found out. Dense cloud layers and increased winds moved in once I hit Davis Path, but visibility- while low- remained adequate to reach the summit and get back down safely. Climbing was tough but quick and steady going, and crampons and axe were both essential that day. Definitely one to repeat. Winter Washington is a legendary Northeast climb!
