Ascent Trip ReportAfter claiming Lafayette, Team Hike-NH went over to Mount Lincoln.
The trail was never steep, but it was rocky and rough in spots, and the wind didn't help, either. It was this section where I would see the most unprepared hikers the whole day- people in cotton sweatshirts and jeans, sneakers and what not. Anyway, it was a quick, PUD-laden trip to Lincoln, where its flag was flying, but at a very odd angle due to the flagpole being made of PVC pipes. We stuck around for fifteen minutes or so, then went back to Lafayette to greet hikers, get our group photo, and head down to the Skookumchuck Trail.
