Ascent Trip Report

Descended west ridge of Peak 10880 to gain saddle, then ascended the unlikely looking east ridge. Looks steep, but Ortenburger is dead on: VERY enjoyable class III scrambling. Not so much a ridge as a long dihedral. The closer you get the more manageable it seems. Very fun movement and one of the finer ascents I've done this summer. The ridge leads you right to the top of the double-summit mountain. Astonishing views of the whole canyon, and especially of the train of mountains west of Moran.

This was on my top 3 Teton peaks to do this summer (with Table and Buck). For good reason was it on there, and I'm glad it was. Highly recommended.
