Ascent Trip Report

Took the Class 4 East Ridge approach to the top with Maddie, while Nietzan "not an exposure guy" took the east face (class III - our descent route). Very exciting yet manageable scrambling due to the constantly airy and open nature of the ridge...looked over or to the side a number of times and just saw thousands of feet of was wild. Listened to some old school rap on the way up..."ain't no such thing as halfway crooks; scared to death and scared to look."

One of the better ascents I've done this season, based on the fun scrambling, the headiness, and the summit views. Static looked incredible, the South Teton ridge was super sick, and even the hike up Stewart's Draw to the Meadows-like area was gorgeous. Didn't see a benchmark at the top, but apparently there's one there just west of the actual summit.
