Ascent Trip Report

An extraordinary hike for many, great reasons! 1)Early Summer = Vibrant plant growth. 2)Captivating lakes like Maybird and Red Pine grab your attention, especially in the morning sun. 3)Exhilarating scramble across the "spine" towards the peak. 4)Sliding down snow! 5)Low foot traffic(like no one else but you!). Overall it's been my favorite hike that I've ever completed! The low amount of visitors makes the trail so pristine and cared for! A great hike for anyone, even the family pooch!
