Ascent Trip Report The next peak, North, was probably all on private property. I took 79 south from Julian to Yaqui Rd. This was the route I took through the residential area: Yaqui 2/10 miles to Natchez. Turn left, go 1/10 mile to Yuma. Turn left. Yuma becomes Incapa, go right. Incapa become Arrapahoe. At the intersection of Arrapahoe and Apache, Cuyamaca Forest Rd starts. This is the road you want to be on, however, there is a big locked gate, with no trespassing, property of Cuyamaca Rorest Ranch Homeowner Association. I that turning left on Apache go to the end and park. Space for a couple of cars. At the end or the road, a home is under construction. To the right of this home an old jeep road begins. Follow this road and in about 100 feet, you will come to a gate with an old private sign on it. I decided it would be ok to go around this gate. Follow the this jeep road to an intersection. Turn right, continue east to a point where the road turns to the left (north). Continue on the jeep road and within a few hundred yards, you will see the asphalt Cuyamacea Forest Rd .just below you on the right. Drop down to this road and follow it about a mile. You will come to a sign that says: Slow: Mountain Circle Dr. Turn right go to the point where the road starts to go downhill. You will see a dirt road on your left. It is just before stick #23. Follow this dirt road to the second junction on the left. You will go around two gates. Follow this to a flat spot just below the towers. Look for a use trail that goes between the towers. In about 100 feet you will come to a gazebo with great views.
