Ascent Trip ReportWell today was my final 48 4,000 footer....I didn't sleep great the nite before in anticipation but got enough...Woke up sat morn met Mike Berger & my daughter Jenny at my house & started our trip.
Got to the Kinsman Ridge Trail & met the rest of the crew...The other person finishing his 48's Brian Platt , wife Nancy & Kiki .Nancy & Joe Damboise & Baxter , Cheryl & Darrell Lassel & Chloie ,Randy Bullis, Joan Platt , Darin Gagne , Lenny ,Amy & Ray Plante. We all hiked up to the summit & were joined by my wife Nancy , Annie & Nikki Bullis , Tom Platt , Kim Runion , & Mary Gagne

When Brian & I got to the summit the others made a tunnel with their hiking sticks & then the celebration began....I am suprised by the emotion that came over me ...Never thought I would feel this way....At one point in my hiking I decided to do it in memory of my brother George
After all the celebration we came down the new Cannon-Mittersill trail....We got picked up & brought back to the Kinsman Ridge Trailhead & we had more celebration...Joe & Tom cooked hot dogs & Jalepeno Poppers..brownies & twinkies ....that I didn't get as Nancy Platt ate most of them
