Ascent Trip Report

Date is accurate to within +/- 3 years.

The road to the summit was closed at Junction Camp, so we hiked from there. Weather was alternating sparkling gorgeous vistas with white-out blizzard conditions. We made the summit and huddled inside the structure attempting to warm ourselves around my Gaz backpacking stove. When we realized that our exposed body parts were freezing faster than our stove-side part were warming, we decided we needed to high-tail it to lower and warmer climes before we died of exposure.

By far the coldest trek I've ever been on. Wish I remembered the season, but I'm certain it was not summer!
