Ascent Trip ReportDecided on a whim to hike this second-highest peak on Nanortalik Island during our brief one-day visit to the island. My family went on the hike with another traveling family, an English family from Spain. To our surprise, there was a fairly well-defined trail to the top of Ravnefjeldet, as well as large cairns at the summit. Views from the summit were absolutely incredible, with awesome vistas of icy, jagged peaks, the entirety of Nanortalik town, and the clear blue waters surrounding the island. |
