Ascent Trip Report

The trail starts out with a gentle upward grade, only 1000 feet elevation gain in 2 1/2 miles. It ascends quite steeply from there to a fence and gate at a meadow, about 600 feet in 2/3 of a mile. A side trail heads to the left towards the peak, but skirts around its east flank at about 10,400. I convinced the group to bushwhack the short distance to the peak, but forgot the route from my last trip. We followed what appeared to be a use path, but ended up going around the knob before arriving at the steep meadow on the east side that is the best way up.
