Ascent Trip ReportFinally got to hike the Berry Pasture Trail, a blue-blazed side route of the Wapack Trail. Aside from a clearcut halfway up that provides good views and a plethora of blueberries, this trail wasn't the most scenic. However, the 20 minutes I spent blueberry picking would make me go back again just to pick blueberries (in season). This trail would be good in winter, but the access road to the trailhead, which is off NH 123 in Sharon, is closed in winter.
The verdict: Not the most scenic route to the ridgecrest, but if you like blueberries, then by all means go to the pasture and pick away!
