Ascent Trip Report

First Bushwhack. Very mentally taxing. You start at the hairpin road of the Blue Trail off Spruceton Road and take a bearing, which is 333 degrees north west at the sharp turn. There are also two drainages, one that is dry. I've found it easy to keep yourself between those two streams while maintaining the bearing. There will be lots of nettles and underbrush to walk through but eventually you'll get to the ridgeline and if you maintained your northwest bearing you should hit a herds path on the ridgeline that will take you right to Rusk. Crappy mountain, but first bushwhack. Has register in canister at the top
