Ascent Trip ReportAfter not such great sleep I woke up early. I heard what i thought was a huge rock fall of the back side of lone peak or bombs being dropped in SLC. After hearing this for a while a bunch of bombs or rocks all fell quickly for a few seconds and i realized it was probably a fireworks show. I was surprised i could here it from all the way up there. Anyway with energy dwindling i made it to the top of big horn which was super steep. I called melissa and told her i would most likely be taking the Jacobs ladder trail down off lone Peak instead of going to Rocky Mountain Peak and going back down Bells canyon. I told her i might be down by 1 pm. |
