Ascent Trip ReportPeak 4 – We started from the trailhead at Glavas and were immediately joined by two local dogs. They trotted along the trail with us kindly pointing out the way to the summit. In stark contrast to the previous days climb we had perfect hot and sunny conditions. Having been warned by another group the previous day to watch out for snakes in the area, we were constantly on the lookout but the dogs didn’t seem that concerned and probably scared them off because we didn’t see any. We reached the summit in good time, had lunch and headed back down to the car just before the heavens opened up once more. Next stop - Triglav. |
