Ascent Trip ReportWe used Ben's report for reference; it was really helpful. We entered the service road and, finding the gate open, drove in. The red gate was also open; we turned left before the red gate and drove right to the base of the windmill adjacent to the high point. A really obvious mound - which seems to have been a result of the excavation needed for the windmills - was the apparent high point even if most of it was man-made. We walked to the top of it through tall grass, and tromped all around it after taking a couple of selfies. The view of gigantic wind turbines rising out of dense forests made the trees and even the hills seem tiny by comparison.
