Ascent Trip Report

Mountaineers group of 6.
Approach: 4 hours.
Climb base-to-base: 6.5 hours.
Decent: 2 hours.
Hard snow pack all the way starting from the road. Snowshoes with ascenders worked great to Kangaroo Pass. Final ascend toward the base of the climb is very steep. Crampons would have been helpful but we managed by kicking steps. Ice axe definitely recommended. Climbing route had no snow. Easy to avoid the remaining snow on the last scramble near the summit.
