Ascent Trip ReportAfter climbing Mt Jefferson the day before, we drove up to Kingston and camped at the Kingston Campground which was an awesome place with a creek running right through our campsite. Definitely wouldn't have guessed we were in Nevada. The next morning we continued up the road for a few miles and turned onto a rugged, overgrown road and drove for about a half mile until it ended. From here, the hike was straightforward but quite steep the entire way. This was a very rewarding summit because of the difficult climb and the green, rolling hills surrounding us. |
