Ascent Trip ReportThe road to Disappointment is paved....
Left the car at trailhead 2N52 around 6:30am. About 60 degrees with a cool breeze out of the west, off the marine layer. Arrived at the summit at 8:30am. And it was.....
But I attached Mount Disappointment with Mount Markham, Mount Lowe, and San Gabriel Peak to create a 9 hour, 12 mile hike with 3,350 feet of elevation gain. Resulting in an excellent day. |
