Ascent Trip ReportGreat day for a great hike - perfect weather. I followed the trail to snowline and was able to follow it for quite a while longer. I then decided to follow a nice snow slope right up to the ridge. The ridge cliffed out on me so I had to downclimb a bit to get to the snow on the northwest side of the ridge. The summit area was totally clear of snow, so it was quite easy to climb up. It was easier than expected. After 20 minutes or so on top, I retraced my steps back down the mountain. The total time away from the car was 5 1/2 hours.
