Ascent Trip ReportWent to panorama point. Driving out the most difficult part was to follow the GPS to the peak. As we drove along the dirt road it was difficult to observe which was the highest peak. One difficulty we had was following the GPS guiding us in...it tended to want to use roads that were not existing (such as a tiny farm road going along the edge of a farmers field...THAT IS NOT THE CORRECT ROAD. The correct road goes on the West side and then along the North of the peak. You will enter the road to the peak from the North. Panorama Point was nothing spectacular, it was windy and brisk in early April. There were some bison near the point which were neat. |
