Ascended Bald Mountain from the E. Easy climb, just walk up the big hill! Spent the night under the stars on the mountain towards SW end. Spectacular stars above and lights of small Wyoming towns far below in the distance down on the high plains. First time Lupe ever slept out under the stars and not zipped into a tent. She slept well for a few hours, but was so excited she spent half of the night sniffing around in the dark later on. Breezy in the morning and cool. Gorgeous views. |
