Ascent Trip ReportParked just outside the Park Loop Road and walked about a half mile to the trailhead. Took Kebo Mountain Trail up, then continued on Dorr North Ridge Trail to the summit of Dorr Mountain. We then headed down an unnamed trail towards Cadillac Mountain. Once in the cull between the two mountains we followed Gorge Trail up to the summit of Cadillac. We walked around the top, saw a white owl perched nearby. On our decent back down we stopped to take in the view and enjoy a Baxter Stoweaway IPA while watching a Bald Eagle fly overhead. We continued down to where the Gorge Path turns left and decided to take that back to the Park Loop Road. Very snowy and a lot of leg work required as we would sink down every few steps. |
