Ascent Trip ReportWent up the east side via the Silver Hill Mine road. From there I went cross country up to the summit but found it to be steep and somewhat muddy thanks to the melting snow. A short class 3 section led to the summit but it was mild and no challenge technically except for the snow that was present in spots. Found a witness and central benchmark along with a register placed by Greg Jagielski in 2008. A few had signed in including John Vitz in 2009. This was my 94th of the top 100 prominence peaks in the state of Utah and the views from the summit were outstanding. |
