Ascent Trip Report

My second outing to New York Mtns HP, this time with two healthy shoulders (I did summit the first time).

The climbing I thought would be fairly challenging turned out to be an easy day for this group, reminding me personally how far I have come as a climber in the last 25 months. This is a fun hike and scramble. It was nice to get out with Brett again (he co-organized this one with me for LVMC), and I have been up many summits with Jodie and Jerry. Josef, Kevin, Penny, and Amber were all people I had never met/hiked with before (except Kevin, who I had met once with a mutual friend at a restaurant). All proved great companions and more than up to the task.
