Ascent Trip ReportThis was a solo snowshoeing hike up Flat Top Mountain. Beautiful sunny day, 9 C, with only a slight breeze. The logging road around the north and west sides of the mountain was not yet plowed of snow, so the trail head I used was from the Flat Top Mountain Rd where there is a large rock with a painted black arrow identifying the trail. Did not see any yellow trail markers until well up the mountain, then only about 10. Some bushwhacking undertaken to find highest point. |
