Ascent Trip Report

This hike starts near the Sun Gate. It is fairly steep but made considerably easier by numerous stone steps made by the Incas. It is much less travelled than the shorter hike to Huyana Picchu. Our group had the trail to ourselves. Great 360 degree from the summit. Fabulous overview of Machu Picchu site.
