Ascent Trip ReportThere is a fenced communications tower on the summit and I could not find BM Pinnacle 2. Not much to see from the summit, but on a clear day there are some great views north along Pinnacle Mountain Road. The road is paved all the way up the east side from US25 in Flat Rock and is gravel on the west side. If you drive that side in a car, take Sky Valley Road instead of the western end of Pinnacle Mountain Road, which is 4WD. |
