Ascent Trip ReportDragged the family out to Lancaster to see the magnificent wildflower display at Saddleback Butte State Park--and with the hope of hiking to the summit. It turned out to be a perfect day--gorgeous flowers, sunny but not hot, breezy but not windy. The trail virtually disappears in the rocks as you get near the summit, we all took different routes to the top. Wonderful views. |
