Ascent Trip ReportAnother great break in the cold weather with temps nearing 50. Otis and I take the elbow trail from berkshire School to the AT. The Elbow is a sweet trail, plenty of traffic left it snowshoe packed but not a single soul to be seen and at the AT all footprints head South. North on the AT was pristine. No evidence of passage since the previous two snows- so two weeks. Had to snowshoe, was really fun! Made what I believe to be the second slight hump on the Bushnell ridge, which should be the highpoint but I will need to confirm with a follow up hike through to Jug End. Parked car at 11AM, summit 1230 and back at 230PM. Biscuits and coffee up top and used the Bushnell binoculars of course.
