Ascent Trip ReportAfter summiting Mount Watatic, I headed north on the Wapack Trail to Nutting Hill.
The trail was still broken out, albeit with one or two inches of fresh powder. It descended a few hundred feet to the col between Watatic and Nutting, and I made a short ascent to the ledges, where I saw the only person of the day, a gentleman and his dog.
I took the Wapack Trail a very short distance to an old cart path, which I took a very short distance as well to the State Line Trail, which descended on the cart path at easy grades to MA 119.
I kept my snowshoes on for the entire hike, and now that I've done this, I think I can handle bigger mountains with them.
