Ascent Trip ReportDave and I decided to do a trail run since we got off work early. All of the peaks I need near Everett are either summer peaks or logging road dumpster peaks. Instead, we opted for the scenic Woody trail at Wallace falls state park. It's a hike I have wanted to do for a while even though it's not to a peak. We ended up running right around 8 miles under completely clear skies, a rarity around here. An afternoon well spent. The downside is that my first hike of 2014 was not to a peak... |
