Ascent Trip Report

From TH follow old paved road for a few minutes until a saddle. The Reyes trail heads over the left/North side of the ridge and continues on flatly. An old roadbed heads along the right side of the ridge slightly downward. Instead, look for a steep bootpath heading right up the slope in front of you. This trail heads straight up, flattens out, heads up again, flattens out, heads up and flattens out. The tread is discernable basically the entire way and it likely served a former lookout on the 7514 summit. Follow this path all the way to the summit area where an easy scramble of some boulder piles awaits. To the North a 100 or so feet lies a second area with a huge boulder that is probably lower but close enough that it is probably worth tagging. Great views especially South.
