Ascent Trip ReportFrom Rabun Bald, continued down Bartram trail past Flint Gap, past Salt Rock Gap, the Bartram trail now switchbacks up that northeast arm of Flat Top, and crosses the southeast arm to within .1 mile of the top. Bushwhacked that last little bit is mostly easy. Top is flat, and covered with scrub oak. A rock at the far eastern end of the ridge seems to be the highest point. Ate lunch there, and returned back to the trail for a trip to Flint Knob. |
