Ascent Trip ReportThis was my first solo climb so I was a bit apprehensive but the trail was rather straight forward and easy to follow. After locating the sign posted at the road I parked and began my trek. First I hiked down to the beginning of the Chimineytop Gap Trail then hiked back up connecting to the Foothills Trail which I took to the summit The total hike was 9 miles which was completed in 4 hrs 35 min.
