Ascent Trip ReportGPS address is 525 Betsy Bell Road, Staunton VA (not Betsey). The one-lane gravel road to the top should be passable in any car, even though the county website recommends 4WD.
Next to Betsy Bell is a smaller mountain named Mary Gray. These are apparently named for Bessy Bell and Mary Gray, Scottish girls who died of the plague in 1645 and became famous in folk songs that were brought here by the Scottish settlers.
My 132nd COHP and 32nd in Virginia.
