Ascent Trip ReportBegan hike at Forca di Presta, with heavy fog just below. As we approached the summit, wind picked up, blowing clouds over the trail below. Not a lot of time to relax on the summit because the trail was quickly becoming obscured by fog. Pretty brisk descent just to stay ahead of the fog.
Clear views of Redentore, Pizzo del Diavolo, and other sights to the west, but east was blanketed by clouds. Cloud cover cleared up by the time we hit Vettoretto, with beautiful views of Castelluccio and Piano Grande. |
