Ascent Trip ReportThe pleasant hilltop view described in COHP trip reports over a decade ago is now overgrown with timber. Still, it is a nice hill for this part of SC.
The map shows Curtis Millpond Lane leading from Paxville to the foot of the hill. But this road has been closed and you need to approach via Tarleton Road, an unsigned sandy road about a mile west of Paxville. We parked in an area that was recently logged, and walked up through open woods.
