Ascent Trip Report

After I hiked to Noon Peak, I headed to my next objective, Jennings Peak.

The trail between Noon and Jennings was the easiest part of the hike; the grades were easy and the footing good. I crossed some wooden bog bridges along the way, and there were traces of mud on the trail. I came to the Drakes Brook Trail 2.7 miles in, and then headed 0.1 mile farther to a 0.2 mile spur path to Jennings.

The path started out easy, then got steeper, and soon ended at Jennings Peak's summit, which had great views. I sat for a few, ate a cereal bar, then headed to my final mountain goal of the day, one that had eluded me for a year- Sandwich Mountain.
