Ascent Trip ReportDistance: 5.85 miles Elevation gain/loss: 2473 ft / 2342 ft Moving time: 2:57 Moving speed: 1.7 mph Perfect day for a 6 peak desert hike, sunny 67 and 10+ mph winds. This hike was entirely off trail and involved washes, bushwacking, scrambling, steep climbs and descents, false summits, and tricky navigation. The terrain was tough but the views from each peak were just incredible including down borrego palm canyon into borrego springs, coyote, rabbit, villager, and toro, san jacinto, san ysidro, and many other benchmarks on the SDP list. We found and signed the summit registers on all 6 peaks.
